The programme brings an intensely practical accident investigation exercise to the training room giving your trainees the opportunity to practice safely.
By producing a filmed account of a real accident, shot in a real workplace and adding unique film-based interactivity, Outtakes has created a package that can be used to teach different elements of accident investigation depending on individual company values.
Accident Scene Investigation comprises of three main screens, each screen contains invisible buttons or hot-spots that when clicked reveal clues to the factors that caused and contributed to the accident. From the home screen you can trace back the events that led to the incident, from the photographic screen you can see close-ups of the physical evidence and the final screen allows views of witness statements.
Many trainers are already using the DVD to create engaging and practical accident investigation courses, each one with a slightly different approach.
Benefits of the programme include:
"Use of the DVD really makes the training session come alive. The characters are played very convincingly and I found that my trainees become fully engaged in the investigation process when they found they could access the photographs and witness statements." Jeff Roycroft, UK Health and Safety Manager, McCormick.
